June Book Review (00ps)

Happy Tuesday everyone it's not Tuesday,

It's the first month of summer vacation so I'm feeling really lazy which is why I did very little reading and don't have much to report. I read one of the Sherlock series but it's a bunch of books in one big book and I'm going to do a review on that until I'm done with the whole thing. I finished the second Winnie the Pooh book this month that I included in the last book review post and I just started It Takes Two by Jonathan and Drew Scott which is probably gonna take me forever to finish because it's an autobiography and I tend to prefer fiction. So, yeah, I don't have a full book to review this month (the zero in oops was purposeful). It's summer so I'm doing a lot of sleeping, hanging out with friends and family and I'm taking a summer online class that entails reading a chapter from a textbook almost every day. Hopefully, I get through my book funk in time for July's book review.

In an attempt to keep this post from being a total failure here's some extra book related stuff.

Near the beginning of June, my boyfriend and I drove up to LA to visit the Hollywood Walk of Fame and The Last Book Store.

I hadn't planned on blogging this trip so I didn't take pictures for that purpose. These will have to do.

The bookstore was enormous and gorgeous! I really want to go back and spend some more time there.

There's a second floor that had a lot of art and little artist shops and even more books.

<There was a separate little room full of beautiful first editions.

There were so many cool art installations all over the place that were made out of books.

They even sold books that were purely for decoration.

Totally Ky
