He refused to get in today's picture though, he's not feeling very photogenic.

The Witches - Roald Dahl

I read The Witches to my sister as my mom read to me when I was little. The book mark in the book is from my kindergarten teacher saying I had a good first day. I specifically chose the cover to the left because it's the same as the copy we have.

As many readers who started loving books in elementary school I went through a Roald Dahl phase that started with this book because it was in my mom's book shelf. I have a couple other Roald Dahl books that I'm eventually going to review here as well. Although they'll all be written very similiarly as I love Roald Dahl. His books are so creative and well written and the drawings are so quirky and cute. I haven't read a Roald Dahl book that I haven't liked.

The Witches are about a boy who lost his parents and lives with his Grandmother who used to be a sort of witch hunter (I can't remember what the word they used) and she tells him stories about Witches. Which (hehe) is lucky as he has a few run in with witches. It's such a good read. My sister made me read the whole thing in one day. She would have listened to it in one sitting but I had to take a break.

I wrote this after my nap so Good Morning
                                             Good Night
                                      and Good Bye
